Annual Events

Outlet Awards (January/February)
Our local growing creative competition judged by internationally known creatives that have been guest speakers. Our 1st Annual Outlet Awards was a smashing success with karate exhibitions, custome designed golden and silver Buddha awards, sushi, and a 'best of show' award of a replica 'Hatori Hanzo' sword from Kill Bill 2.

Our 2nd Annual event was just as amazing with a theme of a carnivale midway from the early 1900s. Winners List.

Our 3rd Annual event is coming up soon! Watch for our Call For Entries announcement in the fall.

Student Design Exhibition (May)
The Northwest Arkansas Art Director’s Club sponsors a college student design exhibition.

Students from area colleges display their portfolios to the members of the NWAADC and many of the area advertising agencies, graphic design companies and larger companies who have their own inhouse design departments.

Summer Social BBQ (July/August)
Inspiration in a bun.
Here we take a day to let off steam in the summertime to catch up and brainstorm ideas for the next years events.

Our first BBQ had the theme “Burgertime” and several dozen people came and sat under the shade trees listening to the vocal stylings of Kasey Loman’s band “Dulcinea.”

The second was spent at the Ozark Mountain Smoke House on Dickson Street the day after the grand opening of Iris Arts, who sponsored the NY ADC Traveling Exhibit.

Christmas Social Party (December)
Like the Summer Social, but with bells on.

Nearly seventy people attended the first event. All that attended the free event with food have expressed an interest in this new annual event.

In 2004, we celebrated at Powerhouse Seafood with hor d'oeurves and spirits.
